Point Cabrillo Light

Part of an ongoing collection of fine art works the artist calls the Great American Coastal Icons™ Collection to commemorate and celebrate some of America’s most popular iconic coastal travel and vacation destinations.

Since most of the subjects in this collection were built or initially ‘discovered’ in the 19th or early 20th centuries, and he already loved the arts and crafts movement style from that time period, he created them to appeal to aficionados of that style, which is more popular now, that when it was originally developed. Sort of a more modern take, with a vintage look that would look good in any craftsman bungalow or beach cottage.

All art works utilize his own personal authentic collection of location photos assembled over fifty years. He calls it CapeScapes™ Coastal Scenics. With custom-modified typography and a bit of historic information added to complete the look.
