Shelly Ramsay is an artist residing in Westport, CT. After spending 25 years as a marketing professional, she turned her focus to creating art. Primarily self-taught, she has been making art throughout her life and has studied at The Washington Studio School and Silvermine Arts Center. Shelly works in monotype printing, painting, collage and mixed media. She is a member of the Monotype Guild of New England, the Center for Contemporary Printmaking, Carriage Barn Arts Center and the Ridgefield Guild of Artists.
Most recently, Shelly’s work was included in juried exhibitions at Carriage Barn Arts Center, New Canaan, CT; the Center for Contemporary Printmaking, Norwalk, CT (solo show); Rowayton Arts Center, Rowayton, CT; Mark Twain Library, Redding, CT; MVA Gallery, Bethlehem, PA; Maryland Federation of Arts, Annapolis, MD; and Cove Street Arts, Portland, ME.
