These Cyanotype photograms are created using Geranium leaves, sea salt, turmeric, plastic wrap and bubbles on cold press water color paper and exposed to UV light. The Cyanotype process was created in 1842 by Sir John Hershel. Contemporary practices in archaic processes experiment with various contaminants into this otherwise static application of chemicals. Each image is an original print and very exposure is different.
