Her true passion is painting and studying different techniques. Her most influential teachers have been Enzo Russo, a master painter trained at the University of Art in Florence Italy; and Karen Spring, who was privately trained in England and Germany.
Her paintings have been featured in many shows including the Audubon Art Show (Greenwich, CT), where she received top honors for her work in oil. Her work has also been shown at Art on the Avenue (Greenwich, CT), the Junior League Eastern Fairfield County Art Show (Fairfield, CT), Darien Art Show (Darien, CT), the Pequot Art Show (Southfield, CT), and the Bendheim Art Show (Greenwich, CT). Additionally, she has been a featured artist at Greenwich Hospital, Saranac Lake, NY Library as a feature in the community Art Walk. Janice belongs to and supports the work of the Greenwich Art Society.
Janice has three children and now resides in Connecticut, but is grateful to be able to spend summers in the Adirondacks.
