Guy Sullivan

I have had a life-long love of photography and was named for the French writer Guy De Maupassant, (hence the professional name for my photography and painting endeavors). It is also the name I use professionally when covering film festivals and press events. My professional nom de guerre is a natural conversation starter and gets my subjects at ease and comfortable as the flash begins to pop.

My work has grown to encompass oil paintings and charcoals. But the primary emphasis is the world as seen through the lens of a camera. I still own my Honeywell Pentax Spotmatic (Asahi Optics) bought used in 1976 - and it works beautifully. I actually love to hold onto all my old equipment, both digital and film.
