Viktoria Stockmal is a self-taught artist who has been drawing since she was a child. She is devoted to creating art. Today the medium she chooses will be determined by the idea or feeling she wants to express. She grows as an artist by trying new techniques and creating a variety of works. Viktoria wants to share her passion of the world with others through her art, sometimes letting the medium flow, bringing her along on the search for meaning within the movement or texture. With her pen and watercolor artwork, it's all about trying to convey a story or engage the viewer in an emotional response, perhaps a memory, sometimes humorous. Viktoria has had successful solo shows in local businesses as well as being an invited artist at fund raising events. She has had works in Studio Hill Gallery in Woodbury, CT, Washington Art Association Gallery in Washington Depot, CT, and Five Points Gallery in Torrington, CT. Viktoria has also had her artworks juried into several art shows including, among others, the New England Watercolor Society. You can find her art and commissioned pieces in several private collections throughout the country.
