LINDSAY CLOSE WALLACE grew up in Wilton CT, spent time in Woodbury CT and New York City, and now lives in Trumbull CT. In her twenties she designed and executed period costumes for many Connecticut community theater groups, receiving excellent reviews for her work. In her thirties, while working in NYC's fashion district as a production manager and then assistant designer, she attended Parson's School of Design and received an Associates Degree in Fashion and Textile Design. After moving back to Connecticut and starting a family, she earned her living as a bookkeeper in the nonprofit sector, most notably for Music and Arts for Humanity in Bridgeport. Now having recently retired, she is again allowing her creative side to take over, and spends much of her time engaged in collage artwork.
