I have been a New York based artist who's explored the extraordinary within the ordinary and the effects of light for 35 years. Whether its landscape or cityscape I am drawn to the interplay of light, shadow and color. My 30 plus years of exhibition experience includes shows at the 55 Mercer St. Gallery, Broadway Windows, The Cooperstown Art Association, the Chicago Art Institute and several group shows with the Maryland Federation of Art.
My experience in the arts is varied. I have participated in an internship at the Dieu Donne Papermill in addition to serving as an exhibit specialist for the Bronx Zoo. There I created synthetic vines and roots for the Congo Gorilla compound. I also managed First Peoples Gallery in SoHo for three years and sold vintage French posters for Axelle Fine Art in Brooklyn. A silkscreen class at the Manhattan Graphics Center also gave my work additional dimension.
I have a BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art and a MFA from the Cranbrook Academy of Art.
