Fran Henry-Meehan is a contemporary painter and printmaker whose art is inspired by personal experiences from her everyday life. Many of her works are comprised of multiple layers used to create a complex texture that relates to an idea, place or emotion. Similar to how each experience and phase of life contributes to the whole person, each unique layer can represent the passage of time so that when added together they create a multifarious work of depth and beauty. She attended Parsons School of Design i New York City. Henry-Meehan's award winning work has been displayed in dozens of galleries, shows and juried exhibitions throughout the Northeast with many pieces being held in corporate and private collections. She currently lives and works in Connecticut.
