My work is focused upon the spatial relationship of geometric forms and how color next to color relates both emotionally and in terms of weight or depth of color. I am motivated by the beauty and mystery of color as well as simple geometry and the harmony that lines and shapes can become dimensionally within the rectangle.
I earned a BFA in Painting and Printmaking from Virginia Commonwealth University and also attended the New York Studio School of Drawing, Painting and Sculpture for a year.
