Studied Art at the San Francisco School of Art in the 90's and received a Bachelors of Fine Art degree.
This is where I fell in love with painting on wood. I felt this gave the work a more archaic quality. Through painting on wood, I found a process that is an inner dialogue I have with the painting. Through this dialogue I feel I can connect with my spiritual mind. The paintings can take a life of their own until eventually it is revealed to me what it wants to become. I use acrylic and mixed media which allows me to use different techniques where the result invites the viewer into an alternate abstract universe. Creating my work through my inner spiritual conversations allows me to share something on a deeper level. I invite the viewers to observe and see what it is they are meant to see within my work.
