New York artist, Connie Freid. has won many awards for her emotionally charged work. Growing up in Philadelphia, she spent countless hours drawing and making collages. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, she worked in both the private and public sectors and raised a family before making art her full-time commitment. Traveling throughout the world has given her insight into different cultures. Her work reflects the challenges we face navigating changing social, gender and cultural issues.
