Lauren is most inspired by her time spent in nature, where she finds the most peace and serenity. The movement in the trees, the sound of a river as it flows, or a wave as it crashes. Lauren finds the same peace when she puts her brush to paper, the way the water flows with the color, the looseness and fluidity. The imperfect perfection of art and of nature. Lauren’s abstract landscapes explore the beauty of the quiet moments unseen in the changing of seasons. The simplicity and restraint of Mother Nature is her greatest inspiration and teacher.
